Mission of Special Olympics
The mission of Special Olympics is to provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for persons eight years of age and older with intellectual disabilities, who wish to participate, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.

Surfin Competiton was a GREAT DAY
13 athletes competed in 4 heats at Stuart Beach. A Big thanks to everyone who came out to make this event as big as it was. We took up the entire beach and showed everyone what our athletes can do. Next up it Cocoa on September 17.
